Year 4 had a fabulous time walking through Lever Park and making the 360 metre ascent up to Rivington Pike, which is an area of outstanding natural beauty. The excursion was part of our school’s PSHE programme. It was a lovely day in East Lancashire and the views from the Pike Tower were simply stunning. The behaviour on the walk was great and the children were very friendly respectful to passing members of the public. The children will be writing about the beauty spot in the coming weeks as part of our current literacy unit.
