On Tuesday evening, pupils from St Cuthbert’s joined children from Catholic schools across Blackpool for a special Lenten Liturgy at St Teresa’s Church.
Our theme for the evening was diversity, and our pupils represented the school beautifully as they performed a reflective dance to the song A Gospel for Every Colour. Their thoughtful and expressive performance helped convey the message that God’s love is for everyone, celebrating the richness and uniqueness of people across the world.
We were also delighted to be joined by Father Draper for this special Lenten celebration. He praised the children’s performance, describing it as very powerful.
It was a wonderful evening filled with music, movement and prayer, bringing together Catholic schools from across Blackpool to reflect during the Lenten season. We are very proud of our pupils for the reverence, confidence and creativity they showed on such a special occasion.
