Last week, pupils across the school took part in a series of thoughtful Easter reflections to mark Holy Week.
The week began with Palm Sunday, as Jesus (Leroy C) rode through Jerusalem, recreated in our playground. A special thank you goes to Reception and Year 1 for their wonderful preparation, which helped bring this important moment to life.
On Monday afternoon, Year 2 led a reflection on the Last Supper, followed by Year 3, who thoughtfully presented the events in the Garden of Gethsemane. On Tuesday morning, Year 4 continued the story with a powerful reflection on Jesus’ crucifixion.
The reflections concluded with Year 5, who delivered a moving presentation of Jesus’ body being placed in the tomb.
We would like to thank all classes for their hard work in preparing such respectful and meaningful reflections. Their efforts helped our whole school community to pause, reflect and remember the significance of Holy Week.
