What a very wet and windy day CAFOD chose to visit Blackpool and launch their Eyes of the world campaign in advance of the COP26 summit in November.
CAFOD are urging Boris Johnson to put the people hardest hit by the impacts of the climate crisis – but those that have done the least to cause it – at the heart of their talks. I am truly grateful to Mrs Thackwray for attending and supporting with transport and supervision. The photos capture perfectly the determination and persistence of this group of young people – passionate and present, representing our school! A huge thank you to the staff that attended you showed real resilience too.
